(( PLEASE COMMENT! I LOVE IT!))

" No." Was the woman's reply as she stood to meet his gaze. " T-Then what ARE you going to do?" Matthew was curious to see how she would pull this off. If she didn't do her job surely the Dark Brotherhood would punish her severely. Seconds seemed like minutes and minutes, hours before she spoke again. " Can I trust you? I mean really trust you, Matthew. you can't tell a soul." What could be so important that she made him swear so fully on? " Yes, of course. No one will hear it." 'No one will listen anyway.' he half thought of adding. " I have been hired to kill the Emperor. I know it's crazy but I need your pass so I can poison his food." This woman was insane. She had lost it!? Just his luck. The one time he falls for a woman she never speaks to him and then when she does she comes back to kill him so she can have his pass to kill the Emperor. Just wonderful.

"...(Name), don't do this. What if you get caught? You will no doubt be killed or sentenced to life in jail."

"Matthew, I have to do this. This is my job. They're my family." It was the only family she had ever had. Growing up the only parent she had was her father but he was too busy drinking to ever notice her and soon he died when  she was six. Since then she lived her life doing odd jobs and stealing. One day she got caught though and that's when her life really took off. Of course it looked at the time like that was when it would end. At the blade of a Headsman's axe. Alduin had no idea at the time he had saved the woman who would kill him, in Soverngard at that!

" Then...let's start a new family. We can leave Skyrim and go back to Cyrodiil, get married. They will never find you there. I have a big house right outside of the Imperial City you would love." Matthew said looking into her (e/c) orbs hopefully. Life in Skyrim was short so rather than the typical long courtships marriage often happened like this. Sudden and between two people who barely knew each other. "I... Let's finish this first then I will give you my answer." The way (Name)spoke was almost a bit to professional when most women would have probably been sobbing and nodding their head as if trying to see if they could make it pop off.

~~Skip YAY!~~

Matthew's clothes were a big on her but (Name) enjoyed the relaxing scent of him mixed with syrup and herbs. She wore his bakers uniform taken up with a white strip of fabric, basic leather shoes, and a chefs hat to top it all off. That had seemed very important to the woman that would be helping her. As the undercover assassin instructed the woman on what to put in there she was shocked at how devoted she was. She could have probably said giants toe and the cook would have put it in without hesitation. Finally the 'secret ingredient' was added and it was left to simmer a bit before being served. (Name) stood by the door with a pleasant poker face on as the old man took a sip and killer over, falling onto the floor. During the panic and commotion the 'Gourmet' slipped out of the door and began running to the tower where she would make her escape but something was wrong. Three Penitus Oculatus came out from her exit and their leader walked into view through the opening above them. As he spoke rage filled her. Astrid had betrayed her, betrayed the entire Dark Brotherhood. Of course it was kind of fair to her anyway. She had let the Gourmet lived and had even slept with the man before, but to punish the whole family. It was absurd. In her rage she quickly slashed through the agents but by the time she had made it through their leader was gone.

No matter, he didn't hold a spot in her mind the only people she was worried for was the others back in the sanctuary. What she saw when her and Shadowmere arrived mortified her. Smoke poured from the entrance and agents swarmed around like ants. Hiding behind a rock she quickly took out every last one of them before bolting inside. She killed everyone she saw in rage and searched for any of her friends. It was too late for the werewolf and the bodies of the others were nowhere to be seen. That was until she came up on Babette and Nazir. The Night Mother spoke to her but she was hesitant to listen. How could she leave her friends here to die? The corpse assured her they would be okay so she reluctantly climbed back in. Oh how she hated it in there.

When they came upon Astrid (Name) was filled with rage and rather than taking it ceremoniously she was more than happy to drive the dagger into the womans chest and twist it. Climbing out of the Black Door she was wrapped in a hug by a pair of familiar pale arms. " (Name)! I-I thought you were dead!" He said sighing in relief and kissing up her cheek. " I heard the news about the Dark Brotherhood all being killed and... thank the gods you're okay." The two shared a kiss and a loving embrace. She needed him now more than ever. The woman she had called a part of her family was the reason for the death of over half of them. If they ever recovered it would be a miracle. " Now will you please marry me and get this over with?" The man begged pitifully but again the answer was not now. " The emperor is still alive." "Oh (Name)."

~~MORE SKIPPING YAY!~~

As she walked into the tavern in Whiterun she went over the plan in her head. The Emperor was dead but she was more than happy to kill the man who had ordered his death. Something about the old man she had liked. Maybe it was the way he so bravely accepted his fate. So she was more than happy to fulfill his dying wish. In under a minute she walked in, got the location to her pay, killed the employer, and took anything valuable he had on him. The circle of life really. As brutal as it may be everyone dies. The hunters will one day be the hunted. She knew this was true even for herself. The Dragonborn most of all was doom driven. But while she was alive she was going to make the most of it.

Taking the money she used a tiny tiny sliver of it to write to Matthew.
'To my love,

There is another home for us. In Dawnguard. Take your horse along the coast and you can't miss it. I hope to see you there by the time I make it back. That wedding is sounding nice but we need to get home ready first.

Innocence, My Brother.
Yours forever.'

To anyone else it wouldn't make much sense but Matthew would understand or at least figure it out. The password might confuse him a bit but he was a smart man and would quickly put two and two together.

~~~You guessed it!~~
Friendly faces filled the chapel as Matthew got dressed in the dead Emperor's robes. He had been what had brought them together so they figured it would be a nice little symbol. They were a bit extravagant for him but he was only being married once. Companions made a special trip to Riften, Thieves crawled out of their holes, farmers left crops unattended, some Jarls left the work to stewards, Assassin's sat in the farthest pew, soldiers of both sides sat as brothers, even two of the Greybeards made it down from the mountain, and unknown to all but a select few there were even two Deadric Lords attending. It was truly one of the most peaceful days Skyrim had ever seen. The war had even been called off while the savior of Skyrim's wedding was being held.
(Name) walked forward with a bright grin dressed in a (f/c) gown with a belt made from the teeth and scales of the first Dragon she had ever slain. The ceremony was quaint and quick. Exactly the way the (race) female liked it. " I do, now and Forever." Each of them said before Matthew pulled her by the waist up against him and gave her a passionate kiss. He opened his mouth to say something, probably a sweet nothing but it was cut off by a high pitched cackle. " Ahah! Cicero promised not to cry but he can not help his poor self. The Listener is married! The Listener is married!" " Damn clown. Sit down and stop dancing!" Nazir growled pulling him by the coat. "Haha I kind of like this one! A mortal after me own heart!" A very important old coot cheered. The couple didn't seemed to bothered though by any of their odd guest. In fact (Name) erupted in a happy laugh as the wine bottles were popped open and the partying began.
"Will there be a little Listener Jr?" Cicero asked as Sheogorath, (Name), and himself shared strawberry tarts and cheese in the corner. " There already is but daddy can't know." The woman winked tilting her glass to show it was only water. " You are a sneaky little scamp. Which reminds me I forgot to do my laundry!" The randomness of the Mad God was ignored due to the fact she was kind of use to it by now. Unfortunately another Prince had been listening and there was a loud thud. Matthew laid fainted on the ground with "Sam" AKA Sanguine looking up from behind him. " Did you say he can't know because I tried it and guess what... HE CAN!" He said pretending like he took it literally. Like the man physically could not know for some unknown reason.
