Anyway this is mostly from Alfred F. Jones point of view during the Salem Witch Trials just before the revolution (and yes, I know they typically hung people, lets just pretend because burning is way more dramatic and has a song. Enjoy and please comment ))

Right now Arthur and I aren't exactly getting along too well. Sure we have had some different opinions but it hasn't really been a big deal until recently. I am TRYING to be a good person. My people over here and I have turned to church and we are determined to make this colony the best out of all of Britain! I mean we are so far separated from the sins of the old world across the sea. This is our chance to create a utopian. We are a brave and sturdy people to have survived in such a harsh wild new world but now, now we are doing so much more than that. We are thriving and this is our chance to make things right. Starting with the most evil and satanic of the groups back in the old world. The witches. They had a lot of trouble with them over there causing plagues, killing livestock, and ruining crops. We can't have stuff like that here. I don't really agree with killing them but what else can we do? They show no remorse and likely they will just hex us for discovering them!

I saw her for the first time today. (Name), ah, (Name). She recently immigrated here with her family to Massachusetts from (heritage location). She is gorgeous. She doesn't belong here though. No, I caught her out in the woods. She was...dancing? Well not exactly she had a basket of some plant and happened to give a small spin as she was practically waltzing down the trail. Almost, like a little fairy. When she turned and noticed I had seen her she was flustered and I nearly gave her my soul right there as her (eye color)ed eyes locked onto my blue ones. Just the way nature itself seemed to caress her and welcome her as her own, glowing off of every inch of her.

(Name) was accused of being a witch today in court. Named by another accused. It shocks me how many of these are arising. It pains me to say it but I am not surprised. (Name) is odd, she is unique. Too much though. She has a certain irresistible charm no mortal could ever have yet at the same time she does not hold the charm of a princess. No it is something far more natural, mystical, forbidden. I find my eyes always on her. My hands longing to just reach out and touch her, if only once. This is no way for a man to think and I have never had this kind of temptation before. It must be her forbidden charm like the fruits of Eden.

ACK! I can't stand it! Why must I be tormented so! Everywhere I go! Everything I do reminds me of her! Her smile, her aura, her very skin. Why would any mortal have to be tempted to this degree! Why must she be so beautiful but the issue is her beauty isn't even unnatural! No I have seen many beautiful ladies before, of all shapes and sizes, more beautiful than she. However there is something deeper there, magical, that just draws me to her as a moth to a flame. Flame...that was it. The only way to end her witchcraft and seduction!

Maybe, maybe, there was a way to get her out of this! Sure, she was a witch but what if I could convince her to marry me? I am an important man of the community! Surely if she married me and started coming to church with me maybe then the people would agree to spare her. I did not even have to utter the words out loud before they suggested to burn her at the stake but if I convinced to repent and join me. Surely they could not be so cruel as to reject her still!

I spoke to her! She agreed! She said yes! Oh surely I will go to hell for this but maybe God will see this as a conversion, a win, and both of us will have a grand place in heaven. I doubt it though. I almost believe her. As we grew closer I began to see her way of life. Yes, this woman was a witch but she was no demon! In fact she was one of the most loving creatures! Her brews crafting those for healing and the smoke was not that of burning children but incense used to purify the air and sooth the mind. (Name) loved the earth and she loved it's creatures, the way the townsfolk never appreciated them.

I thought they would understand! I went to tell them of my engagement but the judges, they only insisted the witch had seduced me with some spell! She had not! Or maybe she was so good I didn't know it! I wasn't sure anymore. I can't bare to go tonight. They have thrown her away in some barn like an animal as they prepare their pyre but tonight, tonight they will burn the witch. I believe, naturally or magically, I am in love with this woman and I would not have the strength to continue this quest for righteousness if I watched.
